I let a big sigh escape from my throat as I look out the rain-stained window. A gray, foggy haze and the occasional flash of lightning was all I observed, and had observed for over an hour. Maybe more, I haven't really been counting. Every crack of thunder makes my heart skip and chastise itself against my ribcage with worry, my stomach making double somersaults in my trembling body.
